I smoked it a few times in high school back in the late 70's (yes, my present employer knows this). Got the munchies, happy feeling. Never did it since.
My 'first time' was with one of the hottest girls in school while I was 'high'. Had a 5-hour hard-on that got quite painful after the buzz wore off. Just sayin...
Anyway, I have no problem with legalization in general, but my concern is people who work on machinery, especially aircraft, while 'high', where focus and attention would be out the window. One critical mistake fixing an aircraft engine, a hydraulic line, oxygen systems, etc, could conceivably get everyone aboard killed. Not to mention vehicle accidents etc. How do you have a checks and balances to prevent catastrophies from happening if we legalize?
