Anyone play Age of Mythology?

Does anyone else play Age of mythology or its expansion pack- Age of Mythology- The Titans? A couple of old war games, Made by same studio who made the Age of Empires series. They're actually pretty good games, but they're old and there really is no multiplayer network anymore. I prefer the expansion- there's a civilization that's almost totally rigged, but I like the challenge of seeing if I can beat them with any of the others. In the expansion you can get huge Titans and dominate as well... I was just wondering if anyone else here knew about them?

yea, before SWBF2 i was really into RTS games.
Age of mythology was pretty good, but i tought that age of empires II was better, they did ruin it all with Age of empires III......

Agreed- the expansion of the 2nd one was the best...too bad I can't install it anymore because I lost the original 2nd one. I also used to have the original, but I have no idea where I left it.

AoE2 took up a ridiculous amount of my time a few years back.

Comand and conquer is a great game, and if you still like such games i recomend company of heroes.

I don't say that game is bad, but the classic tactics of AOE2 were broken in the proces.
In AOE2 they could send me an army of 150 elepfants and i would take em all down with 30-40 Men(halbieders) as these were anti-cavelery and epic Vs elepfants.
So it depended on your tactics or what you would send to your enemy, not the quantety of men.

Now in AOE3 besides artellery it depends on how big your army is, it doesn't her....whoever has more men wins, plain simple.
That's why i was fond of Imperium III pure tactics wich they killed with Civitas as this was more building Etc.....
